Since joining the Fairport Group in 1988 he has been responsible for the Projects, Sales & Marketing functions for Fairport Engineering. His enthusiasm and proven sales ability has seen Fairport clinch several major turnkey projects. In 1996 his efforts were rewarded by the board where he became Managing Director.

Professionally qualified mechanical engineer whose career started at Matthew Hall Ortech in 1977. Promotion from site engineer through project engineer to become senior project engineer in charge of all regional office technical activities. Moved to GEC Power Plants Division in early 1990's to become project contract manager in charge of plant contracts for overseas coal fired power stations. Joined Fairport in 1997 to undertake management of design and build contracts.

Joined Fairport Engineering in 1972 at the age of 30. Professionally qualified in mechanical engineering he had previously worked for Crone & Taylor, conveyor specialists. Barrie now runs and operates the major contracts departments and supervises a select team of Contract Managers, Project Engineers and technical staff undertaking major heavy projects in the cement, chemical and minerals industries.

Malcolm is professionally qualified in mechanical engineering, he began his career with Spooners Engineering before joining Fairport Engineering in 1979 at the age of 26 as a mechanical project engineer. His career grounding has spanned both design engineering and technical project roles for Fairport, which has included numerous heavy coal, cement and quarrying projects. He now controls all the engineering and technical design activities of the company.

Born in 1949 and professionally qualified in cost engineering and quantity surveying he was the Commercial Director for Matthew Hall Engineering (Manchester) before becoming Managing Director of his own company Ortech MCS in 1990, specialists in control & systems engineering. During 1995 Ortech MCS merged with the Fairport Group of Companies and he is now totally responsible for all commercial and business development functions within the company.

Born in 1942 he was initially responsible for all construction planning and site liaison activities at Oxley Dempster until 1971 when he joined Qualter Hall as their Site Construction Manager where he was mainly involved with coal projects, both on the surface and underground. He joined Fairport Engineering in 1977 and has overall control of all the company's construction activities.

A recent addition to Fairport, Ken has considerable experience in the light materials handling markets. He joined Fairport in 1998 as Sales Director from Kemutec. His career grounding has taken him around the globe working on many bulk materials handling projects. His is responsible for the Sales and Marketing of all Fairport's business activities in particular the light materials markets i.e. Food, Powders, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Plastics. etc.
