Rotary Toasting Ovens.
The rotary toasting oven is an efficient unit for the toasting, roasting and drying of a wide range of products. Powered by a variable speed drive the oven provides an accurate control of the retention time which ensures uniformity of product i.e. colour, texture and density. The dual drum system incorporating helical blades is designed to produce efficient air distribution along its full length, together with the tumbling action the unit is a high efficiency dryer. The heated air is in complete contact with the suspended product particles. The machine is self cleaning with a drag link conveyor being provided to remove fines which are discharged into the support pedestal at the product inlet end. The fines can be cleared manually or alternatively, removed on a continuous basis by screw conveyor or by means of a manual tub. Units can be supplied with contact parts in mild or stainless steel, and for economy, the oven is fully lagged.
