Fairport Process Systems were responsible for the supply, installation and commissioning of the PLC and SCADA control systems. The layout of the plant dictated the use of distributed PLC's with control effective from two locations. A system of multiple processing routes allows the end product to be modified with demand. The control system itself comprises; CEGELEC GEM80/160 PLC, GEM80/131 PLC, two GECELEC GEM16 remote controllers and three ANIMARIX PC based SCADA packages.
