Starting from the end of the Hertford Union canal the navigation passes through the following places of interest:-
Old Ford lock
After leaving the Hertford Union canal one turns right and almost immediately comes to Old Ford lock. |

Entrance to the Olympic site
Just down stream of Old Ford lock is one of the entrances to the waterway surrounding the Olympic games site which was barricaded off during the construction phase. The waterway was used extensively to ferry construction materials to the site thus avoiding a lot of road transport. |

Bow locks
Bow locks are at the head of Bow Creek which goes down and enters the River Thames at the Isle of Dogs |
